[imp] saving to mysql

i have setup
horde-2.1-rc1
imp-3.1-rc1
turba-1.1-rc1
apache1.3.23
mysql-3.23.49
php-4.1.2


with some users when they try to make changes under options the changes 
arent saved. but in the same instance when the same user adds an address to 
the mysql data base under turba it is saved.

imp/horde/turba writes to the mysql db using localhost uid=horde all 
privalegs=no

for instance i can make changes to my options and they are saved but i have 
other users do the same and they arent being saved. yet they are all using 
the same login details.

any ideas???
