[imp] Corrupt image attachments?

Hi,

Every attached JPG or BMP (only ones tested so far) that I either download or 
view via IMP is corrupted.  However, when I view the same message via Outlook 
Express (ugh!), the images display and download correctly.  I can't seem to 
find anything similar at Google or on the horde.org site.  Anyone have an 
idea?  If someone needs to see what the images look like after downloading, let 
me know and I'll screenshot one for you.  Otherwise everything is working 
fine.  Oh, BTW...Word, Excel, and PDF attachments work fine.

Setup:

Win2K Server
Xitami v2.49d webserver
PHP 4.2.2
Horde 2.1
IMP 3.1
Mercury/32 IMAP server
