OK, I think we just figured it out. He was running a release candidate, and
upgraded to the latest final release (3.1, I think it is), which is what I'm
running. He compared the code between the two versions and saw that all of the
intro stuff was gone; the link to it in login.inc as well as the file it was
linked to.

I guess it was taken out for later releases. No big deal, I just though it was
cool.
