[imp] imp/config/conf.php read every page load?

Hi,

  I was wondering if someone could point me to where imp's conf.php
file is supposed to be read (require,include,?) upon every page load(?).

  I am using CVS imp and horde as of 08.02.2002; apache 1.3.26 and php 4.2.1

  Somehow the php processing of my imp/message.php and imp/menu.php files 
do not understand what the indexes of the $conf[][] array are. E.G.
Notice: Undefined index: mailbox in .../horde_20020802/imp_20020802/message.php on line 238

  I suspect that I have something in the horde/registry.php file 
messed up, but I have only been able to figure such things out by
looking at the code(!).
