Just want to interject before this spirals downward...

Woah woah... easy guys. This is nothing to get huffy over. From my impression,
HORDE/IMP almost begs to be hacked. The author of JAWmail just choose to share
his hack (no offense intended by the term), and he did so using the correct
liscense so there should be no hard feelings.

It sounds like he had particular interests in mind that didn't align with the
HORDE project goal or audience. No matter how much code he originally borrowed
it appears that the JAWmail project has branched far enough away from horde/imp
to not "require" a credit. Sure, one would be nice, but by no means required.

After all, isn't the borrowing of code itself, the ultimate form of flattery?

If an administrator of JAWmail does even the smallest modicum of digging he'll
quickly find horde/imp and be quite aware of where the inspiration arose.

And if you must reply to this please do so to my personal email, as I do not
want to see the list become flooded with this ethics debate.

Good luck coding/hacking ;-)
