[imp] nothing after the login page

It seems to be a certificate problem of your ssl engine. 
If you make a custom certificate with a server name different than  DNS name of
the server where your apachee-ssl is running problems like that occurs. It was
my case some moths ago ! 

Other point to look is at your httpd.conf. See if <VirtualHost _default_:443>
have ServerName variable pointing to your server. 

Take a look at your ssl_engine_log and ssl_request_log to see what is happening....
