[imp] Strange Imp problem. Only 5 messages per folder ever displayed.

Hello 

if your IMAP server is Courier-Imap, 
there might be a problem with messages 
written and encoded in chinese characters. 
Check core dumps in the IMAP server. 
In case this is your configuration, just 
upgrade your Courier-Imap.
