[imp] blank pages

When I login to IMP

the login page sends me to redirect.php

a blank white page appears, until I click on refresh. then the mail screen 
comes up.

if I logout, I get the same blank page, except this time its stuck, will 
not return to login screen.

after I go get logged in, all the rest of the functions work ok, just 
having the login/out issue.

using redhat 7.2, apache 1.3.26+php4+SSL static compiled in.

imp/horde latest versions, pear latest version.


What may be the case going on here?
