[imp] Identities don't override "From" name

I checked the mailing list archives and noticed that back in July it was 
discussed that identities would override custom hooks.  I have noticed that 
when my users use identities it changes everything except for the "From" 
name.  Could someone please provide me information to allow users to 
change their "From" name?  I'm using the latest cvs as of this morning.
