If PHP decides to strip a PEAR package (Log in this case) from their
distributions, there's not much we can do. Of course we fixed the
documentation since then, but users who have an old Horde/IMP release but a
new PHP are a bit lost.

This _should_ install the command line version of PHP too. At least if you
have such a recent PHP version that the Log package was not included. ;-)
Everything else should be considered a bug of the PHP build system.
