[imp] Error send message - IMP 3.1

Hello All 
I had installed 
Horde-2.1
Imp-3.1
Turba-1.0
OS= FreeBSD 4.6
PHP Version = 4.2.3
SMTP= Sendmail
Apache-1.3.27

...and have a following error when I try send an
email:

There was an error sending your message: sendmail
returned error code 1

Anyone have idea what's happen? How to fix this
problem?
