[imp] Debian (libranet) installation

I have been trying to apt-get and install horde
on a fresh libranet 2.7 (debian) install.  
I have located the
/usr/share/doc/horde/examples/install.sh and executed
it from /usr/share/horde .  it tells me that I can now
setup imp using the setup.php3 files but I keep
getting the message about executing 
sh install.sh from my top level directory.

ANy one have any ideas??

BTW: is there an archive of this list somewhere??
