[imp] default server login

does anybody know how to configure imp so that any user can log in using their 
full email address?  e.g.

sam@example.com   or  john@turbo.com

vs

sam  or just john

in this way if IMP is configured for one only the other will not work and I'd 
like it so that either will work.

I've just finished installing the latest version of IMP.  Currently I've got 
the pop parameters configured in server.php for only one server.  Am not sure 
if this should even be configured.
