I rolled back the c-client version to a previous one and attachments now appear again. So it looks like it has something to do with the c-client. Don't know if its a bug in the new c-client or just a new way of doing things...

Subject: MIME parts now invisible since FreeBSD update (or c-client
upgrade)?

Hi,

I am running IMP 3.1 on the Horde 2.1 framework and yesterday I updated the FreeBSD-4.7 system it's running on to the latest STABLE version (for those of you who use FreeBSD, I basically rebuilt world and the kernel). The system is still running fine after the upgrade _except_ for the fact that in IMP, I can no longer see any "parts" in the message header portion of the message viewing window. If I use the Message Source option though I can see that all MIME parts are stored properly on the mail server. I have lots of saved messages that contain attachments that I could see before (using IMP) but that I now can't. I have some e-mail that contain HTML text and the HTML parts of these do show up properly, but look at the message source I can see that there is NO MIME delimiter in these specific e-mails.

So my problem seems to be related to IMP not decoding MIME properly anymore. Yet I haven't changed upgrade PHP nor Apache.

** Actually** , come to think of it, I did also upgrade the FreeBSD c-client port that the server uses. Could that be related?

I'm basically just looking for hints on where to start looking to troubleshoot my problem as I'm not very familiar with PHP nor the IMP code and I'm just wondering which component does the actuall MIME decoding.

If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Thanks,
-Martin
