What is your sql configuration in the 'params' section of the localsql 
definition of sources.php? (Don't post the real password though!)
And what database are you using?

This is for IMP only.  Go to IMP, options, "address books", and set the
"address book to use when adding addresses."  You may also want to set
the rest of the stuff on that page too ;)
