[imp] Subject and Mail Sent notice

Hello,

  Does anyone know if there is an easy way to setup the compose 
window to require that something be put into the Subject Field?

  In IMP 2.2 When a message was sent, the status bar would indicate 
that it was sent...  It there a way to get IMP 3.1 to do this?   Or 
does it already do it, and I just have something setup wrong?
