[imp] new user can't login through imp in the first time?

i have installed qmail+ldap(openldap)+hordde+imp(3.1);

after added a user,i can login it with the new username&password throgh POP3 
protocal,but i can't login it through IMAP protocal in IMP!!!!!

Or  i can also telnet localhost 143,and login with
username&password.after doing that,i can login in through imp.

i found that the reason is that there are no mailbox of the new user.

which file of the IMP should i reivse? Or other methods to realize this?
