[imp] Still logout problem in imp RC3

I don't recall my configuration being so special...

RH 8.0/PHP 4.2.2/Apache 2.04

The webroot is /var/www/html
and horde is located
/var/www/html/horde

and the only thing that I do that might cause the problem is that I have
an empty directory in the webroot called mail/

and a redirect directive in my httpd.conf

RedirectPermanent /mail/ https://www.aidssc.org/horde/imp/

<Directory "/var/www/html/horde/imp">
SSLRequireSSL
</Directory>
