[imp] Debugging Apache Seg Faults

My users are occasionally experiencing "zero sized replys"/"cannot display
page"/etc... errors that correspond to -

[Tue Feb 18 11:04:00 2003] [notice] child pid 26407 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)

- messages.

This usually occurs in send message to spell check pages.

What is the best way to go about backtracing apache to capture the source of
these errors.  It seems like it must be a PHP bug.
