[imp] latest imp on redhat 8.0

I have finally got horde and its related packages downloaded, extracted, and
"configured" on my redhat 8 webserver. The box is running the following:

Redhat Release 8.0 (Psyche)
Linux-2.4.18-24-8.0smp
Httpd-2.0.40-11
Php-4.2.2-8.0.7 (with the appropriate php-imap/php-mysql rpms installed too)
MySQL-3.23.54a-4

I have horde/imp running, and I can login as a user, but the ensueing page
is blank (i.e. /horde/imp/redirect.php) with the following errors
