[imp] problems logging in

I am using the latest stable releases of horde and imp... I recently 
installed from scratch from the release prior to the current imp.  I am 
having the following error when logging in.

http:///horde/imp/mailbox.php?mailbox=INBOX&actionID=105

essentially as you can see my server name is replaced with a blank 
screen.  If I hit my back button I get:

 Welcome, <user>
Options
Log out

Mail - Compose
INBOX     3


I can the proceed to click on inbox and it logs me in.. so it is working 
but I don't understand why I get the above error.
