[imp] problems with attachments bigger than 8MB

hi,

whenever i try to send mails with attachments larger than about 8 MB it does 
not work. the compose window does not show any attachments. when i attach 
smaller files, these files appear at the bottom but when i try to attach a file 
larger than 8 MB even the attached files disappear. the temporary files in /tmp 
remain there and are not deleted, but the big file does not appear.

in /etc/php.ini i increased upload_max_filesize = 100M so it should work. i do 
not get any messages in /tmp/horde.log

i tried this with opera 7.03 and IE6 but the results were all the same.

i use horde 2.2.1, imp 3.2, php 4.2.3, apache 1.3.23 with mod_ssl 2.8.7 on a 
suse linux 8.0

if somebody can help me i will be very glad. if you need logfiles or something 
similar, let me know
