[imp] IMP 3.2.1 - sort order problem and error message

Hello, 

Happy user of IMP/Horde for a long time.  

In the process of rolling out a new system running:
horde 2.2.2
imp 3.2.1
kronolith 1.1
mnemo 1.1
nag 1.1
passwd 2.2
turba 1.2

I have two issues right now:

1.  I can't sort messages in my inbox by anything.  It is stuck on 
Date/Ascending as far as I can tell.  Yes, I do have the preferences containers 
setup correctly, and folks can customize their preferences, but that does 
nothing to the sort order.  Neither does clicking on any of the headings on the 
main mail display screen.  

I have even forced particular settings in imp/config/prefs.php to something 
other than the obvious default, and it has not worked.   

I have tried this on multiple user accounts, even brand new accounts with no 
existing preferences.

Perhaps I have something mucked up in the preferences, but I can't imagine what 
since everything else is working - identities, signatures, refresh, etc.

I have an older system running imp 3.1 without this issue.  I would prefer to 
stay on 3.2.1, but this would prevent me from doing that if I can't figure it 
out soon.  



2.  I am getting this error while reading messages in my inboxes.  Test users 
are reporting this once every 2-3 messages.

line 264

The message appears at the top of the page, and doesn't prevent the user from 
seeing the message, but it's kind of annoying.
