[imp] CVS-Head various problems (login, compose/send, receiving attachments)

Still no joy...

Disabled magic_quotes_runtime, still can't "save" a sent message with a
large attachment, if "open in separate window" is checked, it still opens in
the original browser window in the inbox frame, and goes blank when the
message is sent instead returning to the inbox view.

I'm running RC1 because with the previous "stable" version I can't even get
past the login screen, it just cycles back to the login screen when I click
the "login" button (and the log shows successfully logged in).
