[imp] Courier IMAP and IMAP authentication

Hi All,
I'm having problems with authenticating using Courier IMAP. When I enter the
username and password, it takes longer than expected, and I see the
following lines appear in my browser:
Notice: (null)(): Retrying CRAM-MD5 authentication after Login failed.
(errflg=1) in Unknown on line 0
Notice: (null)(): Retrying CRAM-MD5 authentication after Login failed.
(errflg=1) in Unknown on line 0
Notice: (null)(): Can not authenticate to IMAP server: Login failed.
(errflg=2) in Unknown on line 0
It appears that Courier IMAP doesn't have CRAM-MD5 authentication enabled by
default, since it seems to be quite difficult to get that working properly
with Courier IMAP. Is there a place somewhere in IMP or in Horde file where
I can disable CRAM-MD5 authentication?
I'm not going to run this in the future, I'm going to use mysql
authentication later on, but I kinda hope that disabling this somewhere will
get me to where I want faster.
I'm using FreeBSD 4.7
PHP 4.3.1
Horde 3 CVS
IMP 4 CVS
Apache 2.0.44
Or can it be that I've got some other problem?
Any help much appreciated...
Thanks,
Wkr,
Dennis Ortsen
