[imp] Possible to Pass in Session Variable / Value?

Hey All,
im trying to pass in a "theme" value from the login page of imp that 
will be available to every page in imp/horde/turba throughout every 
page during a user's session. Essentially im trying to let the user 
load webmail.domain.com?theme=black and then use the value of $theme in 
the horde/imp/turba templates. I have everything doen in templates, i 
just need to now figure how to make the theme value available in the 
user's session.

Any ideas?
