[imp] problem PHP IMAP Support Test

i was install the Horde 2.2 and IMP 3.2 and when i trying on

 http://webserver/horde/imp/test.php the PHP IMAP Support Test

and when I extended :
Server
Protocol
Port
User
Password
and click on Submit , so effect is :

server="localhost" user="tomas" mailbox="{localhost:143/imap}INBOX"
bool(false)

what it means. Where is error.

In /var/log/maillog is
Jun 23 09:48:08 localhost imapd[17479]: imap service init from
127.0.0.1
Jun 23 09:48:08 localhosta imapd[17479]: Command stream end of file,
while reading line user=??? host=UNKNOWN

tomas is based on linux server
