[imp] Address Book Problems

Greetings

    Something weird is happening when i try to add addresses from my address
book, the names and such arnt there. Of course i setup the system along time ago
and i knew not of good practices and keeping records and such.  So what could
the problem be?????  Also how would i upgrade to imp 3.2 and is it worth it from
v3.1??? Thanks in advance.
