[imp] Problem with IMAP

Hi folks,
I'm trying to install horde2.2.4 over Debian+qmail+vpopmail+courier-imap+apache1.3.29+php4.3.4+mysql3.23.
The problem is that i have all the imap modules required (as its on docs/INSTALL). but when i try to get the index page i got the following:
Auth_imap: Required IMAP functions were not found.
Does anyone knows what's the problem here ?.
