[imp] Create Folders Problems

When I try to create a new folder from IMP, I get this message:

 

"The folder "foo" was not created. This is what the server said: CREATE
failed: invalid mailbox name"

 

I can go into a real client like Outlook Depress (Outlook Express) and
create folders just fine, both under the inbox and under root, so it has to
be an IMP problem. Anyone have any idea what it could be?
