[imp] [IMP 3.2.3] email list sometimes blank, sometimes shows all messages

I have a new horde installation that is giving me fits. On my imap
connection I sometimes do not see all my email messages when I click my
inbox. If I keep hitting the little green refresh, sometimes they show
up. I currently have 6 pages of messages that I can page through,
sometimes only a couple pages will have messages listed, sometimes none
will. Our IMAP server is PMDF on OpenVMS. Logins are always very quick.
I am currently using up-imappproxy but connecting directly to the server

has no effect.
