[imp] Problem Login to IMP/HORDE

Hi All,
I have had HORDE and IMP installed for me but unfortunately I am unable to get help from the installer so I have turned to here for
help.
I am running a secure Cyrus IMAP server on a separate machine  to the web server that is running HORDE 2.2.5 & IMP 3.2.4.

My problem is that when I am presented with the login screen and enter the login credentials etc the login fails with the error
message that username or password is incorrect.
The /tmp/horde.log has the following:-

The system has been configured such that IMP handles the login request since this is only to be used as a webmail system.

During the login process there is no traffic made to the mail server at all except the DNS request and reply.

Can anyone assist me?
