I must have overlooked it.. is there a way to display a message that I click on
in mailbox view in a popup? Many of my folders have more than 1000 messages in
them, and going back and forth between the mailbox and an individual message
seems to generate quite a heavy workload on the server.

And while I'm on the subject.. has anyone given any thought to a more
"persistent" message viewing interface? Such as a layer that is set to
"visible" when the user wants to view a message? Or displaying the mailbox view
in a div with overflow: auto or overflow: scroll?
