[imp] Changing default "Default Profile"

I'm trying to find where IMP gets its default
identity.

I have a few domains being served on my server, and
only a few users, but each user basically has their
own domain. I know that each user can set their own
default identity to have their domain name, but some
of the users aren't too bright and I don't think can
do it.

How does IMP get its default identity? Is their any
way that I can change their default identity without
logging in as them and doing it myself (which I really
don't want to do)?
