[imp] Bug in IMAP Toolkit or Horde/IMP?

Hello

with a big attachment on a slow machine we get the error "IMAP toolkit crash :
Lock when already locked".
In http://www.mail-archive.com/c-client@u.washington.edu/msg00713.html it is
claimed that this is bug in Horde/IMP.
Can someone with more knowledge help out how this can be solved.
