[imp] Server selection when not using Imp for authentication

Using a pretty current HEAD (last few days).

I am authenticating Horde against a custom MySQL database. I need Imp to be able
to access two servers, and since both servers use the same MySQL database for
authentication I have hordeauth set to true in imp/config/servers.php.

How can I select which server Imp should use? If I configure the server list to
shown, it isn't, presumably because this affects the Imp login screen only and
that seems to be redirecting to the Horde login screen at the moment.

The only way I have been able to select the second server is using the
'preferred' paramater in servers.php and pointing the browser at a different
host. This isn't really a sustainable solution however, as I use SSL so it
requires separate certificates and IP addresses for the second server. I can't
justify this as the second server will rarely be used.

Short of changing over to have Horde use Imp for authentication, is there
another way I can allow users to select which server Imp connects to?
