[imp] imp + courier IMAP and subdirs

I'm having an issue with IMP and creating subdirectories.

horde v 2.2.5-1
courier v0.47

When i try to make a create a folder called testing i get this

The folder "testing" was not created. This is what the server said:
Invalid mailbox name.


i'm using qmail-ldap and all the accounts are in ldap.. i'm authing
over imap though. Everything works great but this
