[Fwd: Out of Office AutoReply: [imp] courier + folder again]

By the way as everytime in the holiday seasons:
It's against all etiquette to set an autoreply on emailaddresses which
are subscribed to mailing lists!
This is extremely disturbing and creates unneccessary traffic. On most
lists this violates the usage terms of the list and can lead to being
unsubscribed by the list administrators.
If you do not have a responder system which recognizes mailing list
messages then you have to use a special emailaddress to subscribe.
If that is too complicated, then you probably do not want to be part of
any community.
This is just my very private thought on this subject. Other thoughts are
tolerated as well.
Best,
Daniel
