[imp] Horde Base won't work with mod_php 5.0.3? Yes/No

Hi Group:

I'm using Gentoo linux and kernel 2.6.9-r2.
I have apache 2.0.52 and php 5.0.3 installed
I tried to install/compile Horde-3.0 and it looks like it doesn't want
to play with the latest development version of php.  I've posted the
compile error message below.
Is this correct? Do I have to use the 4.x.x version of php and mod_php
with horde and imp?
