I would appreciate if people experiencing perfomance issues with message
history turned could test this patch, if it improves performance and
doesn't have any side-effects.

  Fix a really nasty typo that caused to always load a tree from the top
  node. Reduces my SQL calls by factor 5 and might fix the performance issue
  with message histories. Testing very much appreciated!
