I think turba have a well defined API which can be used for this, ie it is
easy to get all items fram the address book using this API.

Generating the javascripts and saving them to disk is ugly, and will break
some configurations. I think the javascripts should be generated on the
fly, or you could do like google and implement some xmlrpc interface for
this.
