[imp] imp_key problem

rkHello,

I work in an university setting and we run imp as our web email application. We
are trying to integrate imp with our Portal and have run into a major problem
with the imp_key.

We run PHP 4.3.10 and our directory structure is as follows: <server>/horde/imp

When we run the imp mail from within our portal it authenticates against our
LDAP and logs in directly into webmail perfectly. A new browser window opens
with the webmail inbox and everything is perfect. However, if we logout of the
webmail session and try to refresh the portal screen, the error occurs. I have
checked the HTTP headers and this is what happens:

During succesful login, only the Horde cookie is getting set but when we try to
refresh the portal after logging out of webmail, we see both Horde and imp_key
cookies getting set. It appears that imp_key is geeting set only on logout.

Not only that, we have to logout of the portal AND kill the browser before
logging back into the portal to access webmail again from inside the portal.

Request your help in understanding whats going on and what workarounds exist?
