[imp] folder sidebar

Hi,

I am wondering whether there is a setting to make the folder sidebar more
up-to-date. In other words, if I have 3 unread messages in my INBOX and open
one of them for reading, I would like to see the new message count in the
sidebar change from 3 to 2. I am fairly new to this, so forgive me if I am
asking for my car to fly. TIA.
