[imp] problem with language

Hello,
i am using the newest horde and imp.
It is already running and configured, all works fine (the language selection)

I am using Firefox, but other browsers cant get the language working as well.
How does the language preference work, how is it set?
i think i configured everything rigth, the preferences get stored, but the
selected language just come up, its everytime in english...

i am running suPHP, so all hordefiles get executed by user "vmail", but that
shouldn't be a problem.

a strange thing is also, that the help is displayed in the correct language...
(only the help text itself, not the menu in the help)

Do you have any ideas, why the language selection just don't work?
