[imp] "Empty Trash" doesn't...

It means that after hitting the "Empty Trash" button (and confirming), the
system appears to be working on deleting the messages in the trash 
folder, for a short while, but doesn't actually delete any of the 
messages. I find no
error/warning messages in any logs indicating that there is a permission
problem or otherwise.
