[imp] Broken Horde since upgrading from RH 9 to Fedora FC4

Hi

Had everything working wonderfully for a number of
years now, but decided to upgrade my server- ow no I
hear you cry.... 

Now cannot access the system... The log files give
various message but one in particular about Auth.

I am assuming the upgrade has either broken http, php,
pear, perl but do not know where to start.

I was authenticating through imp with imap.  (imp 3)

Any help would be greatfully appreciated, as already
looked in google and archives etc
