[imp] Performance on vServer

Hi.

We are running horde on a virtual server (with root access). This server
has very limited resources concerning available memory and CPU power.

We noticed very ugly performance problems and variation (from immediat
server responses to latency up to 30 seconds for one request). Other
websites (with little or no server-side scripts) hosted on this server
run fine.

Any ideas how to tune up speed in our Horde System.

IMP H3 (4.0.4)
Apache2 web server
IMAP server running on the vserver serving the emails
