[imp] Absence of 'Purge deleted' menu point

Hi,

since upgrading IMP from 4.0.x to 4.1 many (but not all) of my users
lost the 'Purge deleted' menu point (show/hide deleted also disappeared,
but this is less of a problem). These users had no way of permanently
deleting anything, so they slowly started filling up their quotas. Upon
deletion, the marked message goes away, but doesn't show up anywhere,
not even in the Trash folder (IMAP marks them as deleted, but the users
cannot see them anymore).

I found that marking the 'Mail' | 'Option' | 'Deleting and moving
messages' | 'When deleting messages, move them to your Trash folder
instead of marking them as deleted?' brings both the messages back
(marked as deleted) to the folder contents, and the 'Purge deleted'
menupoint. Kind of strange. At this point 'Purge deleted' works. From
then on deletion moves messages to the Trash folder as expected, and no
messages marked as deleted nor the 'Purge deleted' menupoint shows up
anymore.

After some digging into the 'horde' sql database I found that these
users have the delhide pref value set to 1. Executing:

delete from horde_prefs where pref_scope='imp' and pref_name='delhide';

seems to solve the problem. However, this looks like avoiding a bug by
getting rid of a legitimate preference setting.

Sorry for complaining so much, but I never had so many problems with a
Horde upgrade before. I checked and double checked my config files, and
yes I have read the upgrade docs.

					Yours: Laszlo
