[imp] French not working with imp 4.1.1

Hello,

Has anyone succeded to have imp 4.1.1 working with french locales.
In 4.0.4, I succeded to make it work by taking the 
locale/fr_FR/LC_MESSAGES/imp.mo from a RC release.

But with 4.1.1 all the help and the tabs stay in english.
Even the login page does not work in french.

If you have tips, they are extremly welcome.
