[imp] Muiltiple copies of same message sent by IMP

I do not think that IMP has that ability. The UID is assigned by the MTA 
for internal purposes, not sure if IMP can be aware of that while the 
transaction is being processed, probably at the end of it. Try to send 
the same e-mail using "mail user at mail -v" to check the transaction.

Other ideas...

Try to reproduce the symptom using a plain SMTP client, thunderbird for 
example. Check the logs on your http server to see if there is anything 
it may help. Does this happens just to this specific user, many users, 
all your users?
